1804 Proceedings: A petition having been received, signed by several highly respectable and skilful Masons, residents of the city of Richmond, praying for a charter to establish a new Lodge, in said city, on motion,
Resolved, That a charter do issue, for the establishment of the Lodge aforesaid, by the name of the Ark Lodge, No. 73, appointing the Hon. Alexander McRae, Master; Samuel McCraw, Senior Warden; and John H. Foushee, M. D., Junior Warden.
1809 Proceedings: Resolved, That the Grand Secretary be and ho is hereby required, forthwith, to enquire after and possess himself of the charters, records, jewels, funds, furniture and everything else, belonging to the Petersburg Lodge, No. 15; Saint John’s Lodge, No. 36, and the Ark Lodge, No. 73, it fully appearing that the said Lodges have ceased their workings, and are now dormant.
