1791 Proceedings: The Most Worshipful Grand Master laid before the Lodge a petition of sundry Brethren, inhabitants at and. near Southampton courthouse, praying for a Charter to hold a Lodge at said Courthouse.
Ordered, That (in pursuance of their petition) a Charter be issued to Joseph Holmes, as Master; Richard P. Clemens, as Senior

be designated the Benevolent Lodge, No. 34.
1822 Proceedings: Resolved, That on the payment of forty dollars, in full discharge of all arrearages, the Benevolent Lodge, No. 34, which has been for sometime dormant, be re-instated; and, that Brothers William B. Goodwyn, be appointed Master; James Trezvants, Senior Warden; and John C. Gray, Junior Warden; to carry the said reinstatement into effect; and that the charter be renewed.
