Notes: Confirmed chartered 12/10/1805. 1805 Proceedings: Whereas a dispensation was issued by the Most Worshipful Grand Master, dated April 9th, 1805, for the temporary holding of a Lodge in the house of Brother Charles B. Nicholson, in the county of Southampton, by the name of the Centre Lodge, appointing James Drew, Master; Littleton Masons, Senior Warden; and Hardy Applewhite, Junior Warden; and the said dispensation being returned, and a copy of the proceedings had thereunder, in order to obtain a charter; therefore, Resolved. That a charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge, by the name of the Centre Lodge, No. 76, appointing the same persons officers thereof, who are named in the said dispensation.
