Confirmed chartered 12/15/1803. 1803 Proceedings: Whereas a dispensation was issued by the Most Worshipful Grand Master, to authorize the opening a Lodge in the county of Montgomery, by the name of the Concordia Lodge, appointing Wigton King, Master; Edmund Sherman, Senior Warden; and Bernard M’Mahan, Junior Warden; and the said dispensation having been returned, and a copy of the proceedings had thereunder, Resolved, That a charter do issue, to constitute a Lodge permanently, in the county aforesaid, by the name of the Concordia Lodge, No. 72, appointing Allen Taylor, Master; Edmund Sherman, Senior Warden; and Bernard M’Mahan, Junior Warden.
