Confirmed chartered 12/10/1799. 1799 Proceedings: Whereas, a dispensation was issued on the 22d day of May last, by the Right Worshipful Deputy Grand Master, for the temporary establishment of a Lodge in the county of Louisa, by the name of the Day Lodge, appointing Robert Yancey, Master; Turner Anderson, Senior Warden; and Samuel Overton, Jun’r, Junior Warden, and the said dispensation being returned, accompanied with the necessary documents, and a petition for a charter, Resolved, That a charter do issue, to establish a Lodge in the county of Louisa, by the name and designation of the Day Lodge, No. 58, appointing the same persons officers thereof, that are named in the said dispensation. 1816 Proceedings: A petition was received, signed by several members of the Day Lodge, No. 58, which has for some time past been dormant, praying for leave to revive the said Lodge; and, on motion, Resolved, That the prayer of the petition be granted, and that John W. Barrett, be appointed Master; Robert Barrett, Senior Warden; and Ralph S. Sandidge, Junior Warden, in order to recommence the labours of said Lodge.
