Assigned to District 19 in 1867. 1863 Proceedings: A petition was received from sundry Brethren from the county of Rockingham, praying for the establishment of a Lodge at Bridgewater, in said county, by the name, title and designation of Eureka Lodge, No. --- and recommending Wor. Thos. H. B. Brown as Master, Peter H. Snyder Senior Warden, and John Williamson Junior Warden. Resolved, That the prayer of the petitioners be granted. 1864 Proceedings: Whereas, a Dispensation was issued by the M. Wor. Grand Master, authorizing the opening a Lodge at Bridgewater, in the county of Rockingham, by the name of Eureka Lodge, No. ---, and appointing Wor. Thomas H. B. Brown, Master, Peter H. Snyder, Senior Warden, and John Williamson, Junior Warden, and the said Dispensation being returned with a portion of the necessary documents, Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge, by the name, title and designation of Eureka Lodge, No. 195, and appointing the officers named, when they shall have sent a copy of their proceedings under the Dispensation, and the same shall be approved by the M. Wor. Grand Master. 1867 Proceedings: Resolved, That Eureka Lodge, No. 195, be transferred from district, No. 20, to district, No. 19.
