1797 Proceedings: A Dispensation has this day issued in obedience to the command of the Most Worshipful Grand Master, to Daniel Weisiger, as Master; Thomas Todd, as Senior Warden, and Baker Ewing, as Junior Warden, to hold a regular Lodge in the town of Frankfort, in the State of Kentuckee, to continue in force until the next Grand Annual Communication and no longer.
Whereas a dispensation was issued by the Right Worshipful Deputy Grand Master, dated December 17th. A. L. 5798, to enable
the Frankfort Hiram Lodge (formerly established provisionally by a dispensation from the Most Worshipful Robert Brooke, while
he was Grand Master), to continue at work until the ninth day of this month, and proper returns and other documents having been received and duly considered,
Resolved, That a charter do issue to constitute a Lodge in the city of Frankfort, in the county of Franklin, and State of Kentucky, by the name of the Frankfort Hiram Lodge, No. 57, appointing David Weisiger, Master; Thomas Todd, Senior Warden; and Baker Ewing, Junior Warden.
