1819 Proceedings: A dispensation, signed by the Deputy Grand Master, was issued under date of October 14th, 1819, to authorize the opening of a Lodge in the county of Goochland, by the name of the Goochland Lodge, and appointing John W. Barrett, Master; John G. Miller, Senior Warden; and Andrew Kean, Junior Warden; and the said dispensation being returned, on motion,
Resolved, That a charter be issued for the permanent establishment of said Lodge, by the name of the Goochland Lodge, No.
115, to be held at Goochland Courthouse, and appointing John G. Williams, Master; John G. Miller, Senior Warden; and John Brown, Junior Warden.
