Assigned to District 29 in 1868. 1865 Proceedings: Upon the applications of brethren, properly drawn up and signed, we recommend the issuance of Dispensations for the opening of Lodges as follows: Harman Lodge, No. ---, at Blue Stone, Tazewell county, with Z. S. Witten as Master, J. Mosby Davis, Senior Warden, and John A. Culfe, Junior Warden. 1866 Proceedings: Whereas, by recommendation of the Grand Lodge, a Dispensation was issued for the opening of a Lodge at Blue Store, Tazewell county, with Z. S. Witten as Master, J. Mosby Davis, Senior Warden, and Moses Mason, Junior Warden, by the name of Harman Lodge, No. ---, and said Dispensation having been returned, with satisfactory information concerning the Lodge: Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge, by the name and designation of Harman Lodge, No. 222, appointing said officers.
