1793 Proceedings: A Dispensation was granted by the Most Worshipful Grand Master, authorizing Ed’d Cooper, as Master; John Camp, as Senior Warden, and Thomas Claiborne, as Junior Warden, to hold a Lodge at or near Hick’s ford, in Greensville county, to continue in force till the twenty-eighth of October next.
A Dispensation having been issued by the Grand Master on the 20th December, 5792, to Edmund Cooper and others, to hold a
Lodge at or near Hick’s ford, in the county of Greensville, being returned, it is ordered that a charter do issue in consequence
thereof to Edmund Cooper, Master, John Camp, Senior Warden, and Joseph Wilkins, Junior Warden, to open and hold a Lodge as aforesaid, by the name of the Hicks Ford Lodge, No. 37.
