Whereas, a Dispensation was issued by the M. W. Grand Master to authorize the opening a Lodge in the city of Lynchburg, by the name of Hill City Lodge, No. ---, and appointing Wor. Jas. Leftwich Brown, Master, Alexis Alexander, Senior Warden, and William Hurt Stratton, Junior Warden, and said Dispensation being returned with the necessary documents:
Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge, by the name, title and designation of Hill City Lodge, No. 183, and appointing the officers named.
