Whereas, a Dispensation was issued by the Most Wor. Grand Master to authorize the opening a Lodge in the town of Independence, in the the county of Grayson, by the name of Independence Lodge, No. ---, appointing Wor. William A. Reid as Master; Arcbibol Young, Senior Warden, and John M. Sawyers as Junior Warden; and said Dispensation being returned, with the necessary documents:
Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge by the name, title and designation of Independence Lodge, No. 129, and appointing the officers named.
