1805 Proceedings: Whereas a dispensation was issued, signed by the Right Worshipful Deputy Grand Master, dated February 28, A. L. 5805, for the temporary establishment of a Lodge in Cabellsville, in the county of Amherst, by the name of the Lodge of Friendship, appointing Shelton Crossthwait, Master; John Thompson, Senior Warden; and James Stevens, Junior Warden; and the said dispensation being returned with a copy of the proceedings had thereunder, in order to obtain a charter; therefore,
Resolved, That a charter do issue for the permanent establishment of the said Lodge by the name of the Lodge of Friendship,
No. 74, appointing the same persons officers thereof who are named in the said dispensation.
1809 Proceedings: Resolved, That the Lodge of Friendship, No. 74, have leave to remove from Cabesville, in the county of Nelson, where it is now held, to the town of Lovingston, in the said county.
1817 Proceedings: Whereas it is represented that the charter of Lodge No. 74, is in a very mutilated and tiefaced state, and that the said Lodge is desirous of having a renewal of said charter, Resolved, That a renewal of said charter of Lodge No. 74, be
issued, and that the place of meeting of said Lodge be changed from Cabellsville, in the county of Amherst, to Lovingston, in the
county of Nelson.
