Confirmed chartered 12/15/1801. Confirmed inactive 12/15/1812. 1801 Proceedings: A dispensation having been granted by William Austin, Grand Master, to open a Lodge in Pridesville, by the name of the Lodge of Harmony, appointing Doctor James Henderson, Master; Peterfield Archer, Senior Warden; and John Thompson Swan, Junior Warden; and the said dispensation being returned, with a copy of the proceedings had under it: On motion, Resolved, That a charter do issue for the permanent establishment of a Lodge in Pridesville, Amelia county, by the designation of the Lodge of Harmony, No. 62, appointing the same brethren officers thereof that were named in the said dispensation. 1807 Proceedings: Whereas the Lodge No. 62, finding the present place of holding its meetings inconvenient, have petitioned for leave to remove from Pridesville, in Augusta county (the place named in the charter for holding the said Lodge), to the courthouse of the said county; therefore, Resolved, That leave be granted accordingly. 1812 Proceedings: Brother Waller Ford handed into the grand committee, the charter of Lodge Ko. 62, stating that there are not a sufficient number of attending members of that Lodge to carry on its labors. On motion, Resolved, That Brother Bernard Seay be and he is hereby appointed to take into his care all the jewels, records and furniture belonging to said Lodge No. 62, and forward them forthwith to the Grand Secretary, and also to collect all the balances due from the members of said Lodge, and to discharge all just claims due from said Lodge as far as the said collections will enable him and to make report of his proceedings herein to the Grand Master, without loss of time.
