1823 Proceedings: A petition from sundry Brethren residing in Christiansburg, county of Montgomery, praying for a Charter to establish a Lodge in said Town, accompanied by a recommendation of Lodge, No. 55, filed |with the returns of said Lodge, were received.
On motion, Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the establishment of a Lodge in the said Town, by the name of Montgomery
Harmony Lodge, No. 130, and that Lewis Amiss, be appointed Master, Jacob Cook, Senior Warden, and Creed Taylor, Junior Warden.
