1807 Proceedings: Whereas, a dispensation, signed by the M. W. Grand Master, dated January 14th, 1807, was issued for the temporary establishment of a Lodge in the town of Moorfield, in the county of Hardy; appointing James Machir, Master; Thompson McDonald, Senior Warden; and Nathan Parrell, Junior Warden, under the name of the Moorfield Lodge; and the said dispensation being returned, with the other requisite documents:
On motion,
Resolved, That a charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Jjodge, by the name of the Moorfield Lodge, No. 80;
appointing the same persons officers thereof who are named in the said dispensation.
