1811 Proceedings: A dispensation having been issued by the Most Worshipful Grand Master, to authorize the opening of a Lodge in Shepherdstown, in the county of Berkeley, by the name of Mount Ararat Lodge, appointing Presley Marmaduke, Master; Richard Clagget, Senior Warden; and John Blackford, Junior Warden; and the said dispensation having been returned with a copy of the proceedings had thereunder, and an application for a charter,
Resolved, That a charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge, by the name of Mount Nebo Lodge, No. 91,
appointing the same persons officers thereof who are named in the said dispensation.
