Confirmed chartered 12/13/1809. 1809 Proceedings: A petition signed by several brethren, residing in and near the the town of New Glasgow, in the county of Amherst, praying for a charter for the establishment of a Lodge in the said town, being received and supported by the recommendation of Lodges Nos. 39 and 74, Resolved, That a charter do issue forthe establishment of a Lodge in the town of New Glasgow aforesaid, by the name of the New Glasgow Union Lodge, No. 87, appointing William S. Crawford, Master; DavidS. Garland, Senior Warden; and Hudson M. Garland, Junior Warden.
