Confirmed chartered 12/14/1814 as "Portsmouth Naval Lodge No. 100". A dispensation having been issued by the Grand Master, and dated January 20,1814, granting authority to open a Lodge in the town of Portsmouth, by the name of the Portsmouth Naval Lodge, appointing Walter G. Anderson, Master; Michael Basden, Senior Warden; and David L. Delano, Junior Warden; and the said petition being returned with the other necessary documents, and a petition for a charter: on motion, Resolved, That a charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge, by the name of the Portsmouth Naval Lodge, No. 100, appointing Walter G. Anderson, Master; John Thompson, Senior Warden; and William M. Sanderson, Junior Warden.
