1809 Proceedings: A dispensation having been issued by the Right Worshipful Deputy Grand Master, dated January 28, 1809, to authorize the opening of a Lodge in the county of King George, by the name of the Preston Lodge, and the said dispensation being returned accompanied by the necessary vouchers,
Resolved, That a charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge, to be held in the county of King George, by the name of the Preston Lodge, No. 86, appointing Austin Smith, Master; Reuben Balthrop, Senior Warden; and John G-. Steward,
