1807 Proceedings: Resolved, That a charter do issue for the establishment of a Lodge in the town of Salem, in the county of Fauquier, by the name of the Salem Lodge, No. 81, appointing Isaac Henry, Master; James Tutt, Senior Warden; and Charles Landon Carter, Junior Warden.
1808 Proceedings: The application of Lodge No. 81 (Salem), for the loan of the jewels and furniture of Lodge No. 61 (Chester), now dormant, was taken up; on which,
Resolved, That Brother Isaac Henry, Master of Lodge No. 81, be and he is hereby required to make diligent enquiry after, and possess himself of all the jewels, furniture, books, &c., of Lodge No. 61, now dormant, and make a schedule thereof, and that Lodge No. 81 have the loan of the jewels and furniture, upon forwarding to the Grand Secretary a receipt therefor, signed by the
Master and Wardens. And that Brother Henry forward the books and papers to the Grand Secretary.
