1792 Proceedings: In obedience to order of the Grand Lodge, a Charter was issued to Brothers Alexander Campbell, as Master; John Boyd, as Senior Warden, and John Lennox, as Junior Warden, to hold a regular Lodge in the city of Richmond, to be designated St. John’s Lodge, No. 36.
1808 Proceedings: Whereas the Lodge No. 36, now dormant, has been delinquent to this Grand Lodge since the year 5804, and it being enquired by the few remaining members of the said Lodge what sum will be received from them as a full discharge of their arrearages,
Resolved, That on the payment of forty dollars to the Grand Treasurer, they shall be entitled to a full discharge and acquittal
to the present time.
1809 Proceedings: Resolved, That the Grand Secretary be and ho is hereby required, forthwith, to enquire after and possess himself of the charters, records, jewels, funds, furniture and everything else, belonging to the Petersburg Lodge, No. 15; Saint John’s Lodge, No. 36, and the Ark Lodge, No. 73, it fully appearing that the said Lodges have ceased their workings, and are now dormant.
