1793 Proceedings: A Dispensation to continue in force till next Grand Communication, was granted by the Right Worshipful Deputy Grand Master, empowering Nimrod Long, as Master; Charles Vowles, as Senior Warden, and George Latham, as Junior Warden, to hold a Lodge in the town of Stevensburg, in the county of Culpeper, to be designated the Stevensburg Lodge, No. 10.
A Dispensation having been issued on the 6th of April, 5793, to Nimrod Long and others, to hold a Lodge in the town of Stevensburg, in the county of Culpeper, being returned, it is Ordered, That a Charter do issue in consequence thereof, to
Nimrod Long, Master; Charles Vowles, Senior Warden, and Geo. Latham, Junior Warden, to open and hold a Lodge at or near the
town of Stevensburg, by the name of Stevensburg Lodge, No. 40.
